(1) Homonymous upper-quadrant anopia, hemianopia, or upper- and lower-quadrant sector anopsia can be present.
(2) Homonymous hemianopia, upper-quadrant anopia, or upper- and lower-quadrant sector anopia can be present.
(3) Nearly all cases could be classified as anopia or anomaly.
(4) The observed neurological complications were: one patient had hemianopia, one had superior quadrant anopia, four developed unilateral anosmia and one complete anosmia.
(5) So, anomaly and anopia share a common photochemical basis, i.e., the anomalous pigment.
