Arbor


Definition:

  • (n.) A kind of latticework formed of, or covered with, vines, branches of trees, or other plants, for shade; a bower.

Axis


Definition:

  • (n.) The spotted deer (Cervus axis or Axis maculata) of India, where it is called hog deer and parrah (Moorish name).
