Cirrus


Definition:

  • (n.) A tendril or clasper.
  • (n.) A soft tactile appendage of the mantle of many Mollusca, and of the parapodia of Annelida. Those near the head of annelids are Tentacular cirri; those of the last segment are caudal cirri.
