What's the difference between contumacious and pertinacious?

Contumacious


Definition:

  • (a.) Exhibiting contumacy; contemning authority; obstinate; perverse; stubborn; disobedient.
  • (a.) Willfully disobedient to the summous or prders of a court.

  • (a.) Resolute; persevering; constant; steady.

Example Sentences:
