(1) After the female reaches maturity, it emerges from the host and secretes a tubiform cocoon around itself and deposits its egg capsules within it.
(2) It is characterized largely by the tubiform buccal capsule, division of the oesophagus into the muscular and glandular sections, pointed tip of the female tail, and character of caudal papillae in the male.
(3) The possibility that the lateral elements in synaptonemal complexes of plants are tubiform structures is discussed in relation to their fine structure and in the light of a deformity seen in them.
(4) Forestomach motility is stimulated by distention of the cranial sac of compartment 1 and inhibited by distention of the tubiform portion of compartment 3.
