Mesoderm


Definition:

  • (n.) The layer of the blastoderm, between the ectoderm and endoderm; mesoblast. See Illust. of Blastoderm and Ectoderm.
  • (n.) The middle body layer in some invertebrates.
  • (n.) The middle layer of tissue in some vegetable structures.
