What's the difference between pileus and pilous?

Pileus


Definition:

  • (n.) A kind of skull cap of felt.
  • (n.) The expanded upper portion of many of the fungi. See Mushroom.
  • (n.) The top of the head of a bird, from the bill to the nape.

Definition:

  • (a.) See Pilose.
