Pseudomorph


Definition:

  • (n.) An irregular or deceptive form.
  • (n.) A pseudomorphous crystal, as a crystal consisting of quartz, but having the cubic form of fluor spar, the fluor crystal having been changed to quartz by a process of substitution.
