Balm


Definition:

  • (n.) An aromatic plant of the genus Melissa.

Balsam


Definition:

  • (n.) Anything that heals, soothes, or restores.
  • (v. t.) To treat or anoint with balsam; to relieve, as with balsam; to render balsamic.
