What's the difference between quintal and quittal?

Quintal

Definition:

• (n.) A hundredweight, either 112 or 100 pounds, according to the scale used. Cf. Cental.
• (n.) A metric measure of weight, being 100,000 grams, or 100 kilograms, equal to 220.46 pounds avoirdupois.

Example Sentences:

• (1) We used to use around 1,500 litres of water per quintal (46 kilograms) of pre-pulped coffee.

Quittal

Definition:

• (n.) Return; requital; quittance.
